Point Reyes National Seashore Association invites you to join us for our annual Dinner on the Pacific Plate, a fundraiser and celebration of our beloved park!
Join us for a day of exploration, fun, and time with friends, new and old, who love Point Reyes National Seashore. Tickets are $200 and sponsorships are available at a variety of levels. Dinner on the Pacific Plate guests include 300 Bay Area park enthusiasts, naturalists, and park staff. The festive day begins with a choice of hikes, walks, or lectures focused on the superlatives of our local national park and led by naturalists and park rangers. After working up an appetite, the party begins with music, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres prepared by local chefs and served under the trees at Bear Valley. Guests then gather under the shelter of our generous tent for a delicious gourmet trail dinner.
Dinner on the Pacific Plate also includes auction components, both live at the event and online, that feature a variety of donated offerings such as a park adventure package of accommodations, meals, and a naturalist‐ or park staff‐led discovery.
The 2017 online auction will run from September 21st through October 11th; for more information visit www.ptreyes.org and click on "Dinner on the Pacific Plate." To donate to either the live or online auction, click HERE or contact Marc Matheson at 415-663-1200, ext. 310 or by email at email@example.com.
Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and our Federal Tax-ID is 94-2228894.
Volunteers are key to the success of this event, as they are every day to the park! If you would like to volunteer for Dinner on the Pacific Plate, sign up today, just click here!
Funds from Dinner on the Pacific Plate support habitat and trail restoration, wildlife and endangered species protection, volunteer programs, environmental education programs for people of all ages, and scholarships that allow over 2,000 underserved children to experience Point Reyes. Public support is more important than ever to ensure that Point Reyes National Seashore is protected, preserved, and enjoyed now and far into the future.
This year's theme #BetterTogether is emblematic of the times, as America enters the second century of the National Park Service amid uncertain federal funding. With the help of our community we will continue to be able to protect, preserve, and share this inspired landscape.
